Lorima is also asked to manufacture carbon masts and spars for luxury boats (yachts and mega-yachts), both in France and internationally. Some very fine pieces leave the Lorima workshops to equip boats in the 4 corners of the globe. Carbon is no longer just for racing boats, but is also winning over superyacht owners, who are convinced of the advantages of this cutting-edge technology.
Easier reefing, less wear and tear on the ropes, reliable attachment fitting points on the mast, ease of use of locks, simplified sails furling – we have no limits and work with the best teams and design offices on all rigging points.
A great deal of work is also being carried out on the mast equipment, the electronics and radar supports, courtesy lights, and so on.
The surface area and configuration of our 7,700m² workshops enable our teams to produce very large masts (up to 100 metres).
We have a wide range of moulds to meet all requirements. We equip some of the largest cruising catamarans in the world: major projects of which we are very proud.
