    Lorima’s longstanding expertise is in the manufacture of carbon masts for ocean racing (monohulls and multihulls). At our Lorient-based workshops, we have a passionate team capable of making bespoke masts that help break records<\/strong> and win races. This is the result of a perfect combination of experience, technology, design and innovation. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    Made from pre-impregnated carbon fibre, our masts for ocean racing are hand-finished. The position of the carbon fibres is meticulously designed to give the masts maximum strength.<\/p>\n

    Our manufacturing processes (laminate, moulding and curing) ensure that our masts have a strong, lightweight composite structure. The rigidity of carbon ensures excellent stability, while its lightness minimises the load on boats. <\/p>\n

    Lorima equips, among others, boats in the Imoca Class (60-foot monohull yachts taking part in the Vend\u00e9e Globe), the Ultim Class and the Ocean 50 Class (50-foot multihull yachts), with masts reaching almost 30 metres in height. <\/span><\/p>\n
